Hills Tramcar Tour
Location: Lisboa, Portugal
Description
Ride through Lisbon's steepest, most storied hills aboard a genuine 1930s Remodelado tram — the red sightseeing cousin of the famous Tram 28, but with a guaranteed seat and none of the crowds. The one-hour closed loop departs from Praça do Comércio every 25 minutes and rattles past the Sé Cathedral, the Portas do Sol viewpoint, Alfama, Graça and Martim Moniz, with family-friendly audio commentary in 11 languages. Kids love the clattering vintage carriage and the roller-coaster feel of the tight turns, and because everyone boards together there is no scramble for seats with little ones. The ticket also includes entry to the Carris Museum and rides on Lisbon's regular public trams; strollers must be folded on board.
